Teaching philosophy

Every step that we take in a class involves the transmission of knowledge, but also of our values, cultures and beliefs. Unintentionally, teachers can be fostering a hidden curriculum within their classrooms, for me that is one of the most important ways to create a positive atmosphere of the classroom. Every lesson that I prepare for my class have a direct intention, for example, teaching a specific grammar structure or vocabulary. However, I strongly believe that the most important lesson that I can give to my students is completed but not openly intended.
One of the most prominent ways that I use to create a positive classroom culture with hidden curriculum is through my concept about the classroom as a social context for learning. In other words, my management system philosophy is created from the following ideas which are divided into three areas: (1) a positive learning environment, (2) motivation towards functional and real context of communication, (3) enhancing learning through technology.
